COVID-19 cases in Western Visayas now at 91

COVID-19 cases in Western Visayas is now at 91 after the regional health department recorded a total of 11 new cases yesterday, May 6, 2020.

Nine (9) of those new cases are from the repatriated OFW’s that are all in a Quarantine Facility in different Cities and Provinces in Region 6.

Barbaza, Antique, Niyanig ng Magnitude 4.7 na lindol, ilang mga kalapit probinsiya nakaramdam din ng pagyanig

Niyanig ng Magnitude 4.7 na lindol ang Barbaza, Antique kagabi sa dakong alas-10:12.

Ayon sa PHIVOLCS, nasa 037 km S 81° W ng Barbaza, Antique ang epicenter ng lindol. Tinatayang nasa 028 km ang lalim ng nasabing pagyanig. Base sa ulat, Tectonic ang origin ng pagyanig.

Samantala, naramdaman rin ang pagyanig sa ilang mga kalapit probinsiya nito sa Kanlurang Bisaya.

According to the Department of Health Region 6, there were no new confirmed case(s) of COVID-19 in the region today, May 4, 2020.

Meanwhile, the Health Department reports 2 new recoveries and 1 new death.

The 2 new recoveries are from Tigbauan, Iloilo and Jaro, Iloilo City. 1 new death was recorded from Bacolod City.

COVID-19 update in the Philippines, May 4, 2020

The Health Department reports 262 new cases of COVID-19 in the country this afternoon, May 4, 2020. This brings the total number of cases to 9, 485.

Meanwhile, there are 16 new deaths recorded, bringing the total number of casualties into 623.

101 new recoveries were recorded today, now at 1, 315.

12 na mga empleyado ng Senado, nagpositibo sa Rapid Test ng COVID-19!

Labindalawang (12) mga empleyado ng Senado ang nagpositibo sa Rapid Test ng COVID-19 na isinagawa ilang oras bago pa man magsimula ang sesyon ng Senado ngayong Lunes, May 4, 2020.

Ayon kay Senate President Vicente Sotto III, dalawa sa mga ito ay staff ng mga senador, isa ay waiter, isa ay page sa session hall, at ang ilan ay mula sa Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms.

Kinumpirma naman ni Senador Sherwin Gatchalian na isa sa kanyang mga staff ang nagpositibo sa ginawang rapid test.

Philippines’ COVID-19 cases breach 9,000 mark

The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 has reached 9,000 across the Philippines. This is according to the Health Department’s bulletin released yesterday, (May 3, 2020).

According to the Department’s data, 295 new cases have been added, leading to a total of 9, 223 cases.

Meanwhile, the good news is that 90 patients have been added to the number of recoveries that are now at 1, 214.

Four (4) have been added to the number of casualties that are now at 607.
